I am home, I am exhausted. It was a good weekend, and I managed to stay within ritual headspace all weekend (for the most part). Having had a releasing fire at the beginning of the weekend helped get rid of a lot of annoying crap (like being insanely nervous, and the whole weird touch needy/not wanting to ask state I was in), which is probably _why_ I stayed mostly in ritual headspace all weekend.

I wrote a song. To my immense surprise, since usually I have nifty words (poems), or music in my head, but they tend to refuse to coordinate into a song. I like having a tape recorder with me. Makes it much easier to combine the two. (I may or may not share, as I'm _highly_ shy about it, and I don't have a microphone on my computer yet)

I got excellent amounts of non-goal-oriented, non-asked-for affectionate touch. Many, many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] echospiralheart for that and the removal of an evil headache. I think the last time I got that kind of perfectly right touch was when [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe was here. Now, to remember that, in the right contexts, at least, [livejournal.com profile] echospiralheart is good for both giving and receiving that kind of touch.

I talked to trees. Some of them talked back. They were curious and confused, but not hostile.

There were absolutely gorgeous stars. I need more stars in my life. Must remember to go further away from cities more often.

The weekend went from summer-like weather to approximating winter. How appropriate for a fall ritual!

I will probably go to this again next year. I will not be going to Rites of Spring this coming year, though, as I wish to wait a bit on that (it is much longer, although apparently less intense. But more crowded).

I greatly appreciated the various bits of checking in with how I was doing that was going on.

There was some intentionally being lost stuff. And, unlike normal, it didn't scare me. Of course, it was much more controlled than normally when I'm lost.

I'm hungry. I should eat. First, I should read my email.

(Hee! You people said nifty things in reply to my mood of downage. Of course, I _vanished_ for 4 days not long after posting that, which was very silly of me. Ah, well. ;)

I say strange things.

Especially if I'm not paying much attention to what I'm saying.

I went from "Murfle" to "Furmle" to "Furry mules!"

The last one got a reaction from [livejournal.com profile] aelisdeliria, prompting me to listen to what I'd been saying.

Weird, self!

[edit: apparently I forgot to include the part where I said "I have _such_ strange conversations with myself".]

This link amuses me _way_ too much (modulo not enough sleep this weekend, I suspect):

Before I have complete and utter brain meltdown (read: I have no choice but to sleep), CTY has a site for alumni! http://cty.jhu.edu -> Bottom right-hand corner, "My CTY for ... Students/Alumni".

YearLocationSessionCourse

1989Franklin and Marshall College, PASummer Session 2Individually Paced Mathematics Sequence

Anyway. They sent me my login/password via snail mail, thus my knowledge. It does appear that one can request it from the login screen I pointed y'all to, above. Weee!

Sleep now.
