People apparently really like not seeing me on the road lately. Last night and this morning, people kept trying to cut me off and/or hit my car (no one actually did, but it did come close a few times). What's _with_ that?!

[livejournal.com profile] starandrea's notice page today amuses me.

I love unexpected phone calls w/[livejournal.com profile] australian_joe. Even if some part of my mind _does_ spend the entire time wondering how long the phone call will last. ;) (Ok, technically, I just enjoy phone calls with him in general, but I also like surprises, so, bonus!)

Must remember to call Jessie-who-has-no-LJ tonight. I haven't talked to/seen her in a while.

OK, random reading speed test thingy that [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha posted a link to.

http://mindbluff.com/askread2.htm

43 seconds for the first... (reading at light fiction speed, although still reading every word. Gods, that was a boring story! Entirely too many details about the house!)

700 - 750 w/m for the second, reading at non-scientific textbook speed.

And I don't know how much the fact that I'm exhausted and not reading a paper book affects those. I read faster when I'm not tired, and I _think_ I read faster when reading on paper rather than a computer screen.

Neat!
