Apparently, I need to have more chats with rivers. I haven't done that in a while, and starandrea's notice page today has an interesting thought in it:

-The river taught me something exceedingly clever yesterday and it's almost as cryptic as the last time.
-It's funny how the cleverest things are the most cliched, isn't it?
-Like we all knew the truth all along, we just couldn't understand it.
-"Let go of expectation: the circumstances are what they are, and smooth water is boring."


Yeah. There are many reasons that I adore starandrea. Things like the above is certainly one of them!
