Good things in my life meme

As suggested by hopeforyou in community yay_for, I'm posting about good stuff.


-I have a job, with people I enjoy, reasonably close to where I live, and which I'm getting accustomed to enough by now that it can be fun.

-I have an apartment I really like, fairly close to locations in which I tend to spend my time.

-I have a kitty who loves me, who purrs very loudly, and has amazingly soft fur.

-Psinging happened on Friday night. Much singing good!

-My youngest niece is *cute*, and even when she decides sleep is evil, surprisingly easy to be around. And, as always, children who can be given back to someone else are good.

-I had a unexpectedly long phone call last night with australian_joe, which went really well. And, I have decided that I am no longer nearly as anti-phones as I used to be, at least with forewarning.

-intenselaura is going to be visiting my area of the world next month! *much bounciness*

-Pagan Pride Day today had really nice weather. I was surprised, impressed, and appreciative.

-I have lots and lots and *lots* (over 3 boxes!) of sci-fi/fantasy magazines, because a co-worker of mine is moving and didn't want to move them. Now, I won't be tempted to purchase random reading material quite as soon. :) And, people keep lending me books. Oooh, so nice to have my book addiction fed without spending money.

-My birthday is in 6 days. This entire month has been my birthday month. I am taking that day as a "not planning to drive anywhere" day. Of course, if anyone wants to visit me, I would likely be ok with that. ;) Otherwise, I will read, and read, and *read*! And maybe take a bubble bath. Bubbles!

-ladytabitha is just thoroughly wonderful. And I get to see her every so often! *toothy grin*

-I got to see a former co-worker of mine last Weds evening. Much joy! Is nice getting to spend time with good people.

This is long. I'm sure there's more, but I'm done for now. *has much joy*
