wispfoxHuh. I'm _strange_. Was answering a question in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sunyata__'s journal about how one has met the people one has dated. She specified for a decent length of time, but... the length of time has not necessarily had relation to the strength of my feelings for a person. So I'm ignoring that part.
I've met people through:
-hanging out in the library a lot, on the computer, in college
-being in a college class together
-a dorm mate in college who was friends with the person
-Concord Outright
-bifem-l
-talking to someone on the street because she was playing a flute while waiting for a bus
-walking up to a group of people I didn't know and talking to them, at a drag ball in college. They all apparently thought I knew someone (else) in the group. I didn't. (not shy, me. Mostly. And somewhat balanced on the intro/extrovert scale)
-being in the same classes together, then going to a linux users group meeting over a year later, and meeting the person _again_
-an aquaintances's birthday party
-a boston pagan alliance meeting
-previously being co-workers
-alt.polycon
Hasn't happened yet, but I can _so_ see LJ as being a vector, eventually.
