I want a wave to ride. It's been too long since I was at the ocean in a place warm enough to dive into the waves and through. I don't like cold water, because I can't move very well when I'm cold, which pretty much removes all ocean waters in New England.

I want to fly, under my own power. Eventually, I should learn to hang glide. Closest thing to having my own wings, I suspect. For some reason, today, I feel like I do have wings attached to me. It's the strangest feeling, because I can even feel them unfurl, and fold them back up again. It's a good thing they aren't really there, though, because they are much too big for my cube!

I go to play in the dirt, after work. This pleases me. I'm glad the skirt I decided to wear today was cotton, though, 'cause that's easily washed. Mmm. Dirt and plants.

I want to learn to hangglide, too.

You know, maybe people do have etheric wings, but most require them to be energetically opened for them. Sounds like you do have quite a set. Are they feathers or light or something else, white or other colors, culy or fluffy, or butterfly wings, luna moth wings, or faery wings?

Between your desires for water, air, and earth, you sound very balanced today. Light a candle later or bbq something and you'll have the fire, too. :)

There's a major difference in water temperature south of the
cape versus north or it or inside it. I generally find the water
south/outside the cape to be warm enough to swim in comfortable,
certainly in late summer. My "warm" might be your "cold", but still ...

oh god, just thinking about the ocean makes me sad. I need the water. Need Need Need.

Having a view of the Charles last year was wonderful. Just seeing water makes me happier.

But the beach. Nothing beats the beach on a bright summer day, with waves to dive through and books to read and sandwiches to eat and friends to build sandcastles with.

waves are definitely good. I love the feeling of continuing to feel the waves for about 24 hours after I've gotten out of the water. It's also too cold up here for going into the Sound.

Yay for dirt and flying too...

I don't know... not butterfly wings. They are stronger than that. They are definately bone and muscle and such... I can't tell if there are feathers or not. Probably, there are.

Also... fire not so much needed. Fire is something that I _usually_ obsess on. And I hadn't even noticed that I covered three of the four! :)

Maybe. But I want to feel the waves - and I suspect I cannot as well through a wetsuit. A swimsuit is bad enough!

I have never been to the cape. And I don't know that I've swum anywhere immediately south of there, either. So it might still count.

yes. Yes, indeed. It's annoying going to NC for our company meeting, but not going to be anywhere near the beach.

*smiles* I find it really funny that I didn't _notice_ that I had three of the four elements in this post... :)

Yes! Although I've never skinny dipped at the ocean. That might be fun...
