Again, I am reminded of how much I love my co-workers because of the fact that, while waiting for a machine to reboot, the one I was working with today randomly started reading to me from Amphigorey, by Edward Gorey. Which I must now own.

yes, i totally do too. catya pointed me at a page of instructions for modifying your own 8-ball to say what you want, but it probably goes beyond what i'm willing to do. what i need is to find somewhere that will fabricate custom ones for not-ridiculously-too-much money.
