Huh. Apparently I'm at least somewhat known as a good person to ask for information on decent Asian food, at work. That was strange. :)

I mean, it's _true_, except I don't know of any in this town. This town is full of sub shops and crap American food - keeping in mind, of course, that I don't much _like_ American food. Yes, I am a bad American. ;)

(Bad American! No biscuit!)

(Hey! Why don't I yet have a perplexed user icon? Sheesh! Now I need a perplexed one, a pouting one, one with my tongue sticking out, and one with me licking my lips. And I need to upload the exhausted one, one of these days. Mmm. I suppose the curious one is close enough to perplexed...)

American fare is at best mediocre. I've told my non-traveling american friends that and they look at me if I'm fucked. But its true. I much prefer the German (or European) cuisine during my trips to that part of the world.

And as bland American food is, the beer in this country is CRAP.

..I'll get off my soapbox now

It's actually rather amusing. I sit next to a lady who used to live in Taiwan until her parents moved to Vancouver in 1999. Someone came up to her and asked her about some sort of Chinese food. She told them that she didn't know and that they should ask me. I had the answer for them.

This rather amused me.

One nice thing about Seattle is that we have Teriyaki places like many places on the east coast have burger places...
