Now, the first thing that I noticed was that the image directory was called work-safe. Naturally, that led me to go "hrmmmm... so is there a "non-work-safe" directory of images?"

(Might want to grab a copy if you care; I just plopped it in a temp directory, and it might go away.) I also lightened up the top of your face a bit (around your eyes) and darkened the shadows behind your face.

Oh, absolutely! I'm certainly not asking/expecting you to drop everything at once and fly to Minneapolis so I can photograph you, nor for you to invite me into your home at the drop of a comment. I'm really just musing about vague possibilities, based on the fact that you photograph well and that I'm a pretty okay photographer. I also suspect we may have some overlapping communities in which we can "check references" — although I could very well be wrong about that. Are you, by any chance, involved with the sf fan community? Might you know Jon Singer? Have you taken a peek at my LJ, my web site, or my Club Photo photos?

Hmmmm. Well, like the folks who host Boskone every year in the Boston area (i.e., The New England Science Fiction Association). Or, you know, the folks who host Noreascon, Arisia, Balticon, or Philcon. That is, the people who put on the fan/volunteer run not-for-profit science fiction conventions. Or, I don't know, folks like rmjwell and jonsinger and me. … Oh well. Looks like my guess was wrong.
