Because clearly the internet points to me, when there are questions of light boxen in my social group! *amused*

I use the black sunrise alarm clock, presumably from BioBright. I also replace the bulb they come with with a full spectrum light (but not one that emits UV!). Plant lights consistently work well in my experience.

I also use the Twin Tower light from here; I've had it for 7 years at this point. I find it works, but the fact that it's bloody expensive (and green) may concern some people.

Additionally, I replace as many light bulbs as I can reach in my home with full spectrum light bulbs. (bluer light seems the main important bit, FWIW)

Finally, I have a light at work which has a full spectrum light bulb in it. Although I do need to replace that, since it finally died on me (I vary how often I turn it on, since it _is_ bright and right next to my face, and also blinds co-workers who come to visit me).

Hrm? I thought the whole point of plant lights was UV output. Is that not/no longer the case?

I do not know! I don't actually have a strong sense of plant lights and could easily be wrong; I do know that UV light is problematic from the burning and skin cancer point of view, though.
