[sick?]

Oh, look - home less than 24 hours and I appear to be coming down with something.

While I'm glad I waited to get sick until I was home, I have _no_ idea where I picked this up (less than 24 hours seems short to have picked it up from my very sick roommate). So I hope I didn't have it - and give it to people - while I was in San Franscisco last week.

Now, I shall attempt to convince my body that no, it should _not_ get amazingly sick on me. And I shall sleep more. And hope my muscles stop their all-over aching soon, 'cause ow!

"On the plane" seems as likely as anywhere, then.

ugh!
*sympathy*
Email me if we should reschedule Tuesday?

Will do. It's looking like I'm not actually sick, though. Just jet lagged. :)

Hooray!

That's good to hear.

Say, it isn't long 'til a sweetie arrives, is it?

Keep yourself well!

True! Although the jet lag was evil enough - for some strange reason I was up _later_ than I'd been when I was actually on the west coast last night.

~9 days! *intensely impatient*

Keep yourself well!

You, too! I trust your trip is going well?

mmmmmm,. jet lag.
Just wait until you get to Australia!

"Oh, look. The airport's spinning. I wonder how the planes take off while they're spinning...oooh, coffee. Gloria Jean's! Mint oreo coffee why is there no "u" in Qantas? hee! That guy just said "wombat." postcards with planes on them? ...wait, where's my gate again?"

I know! I'm afraid - not only of the jet lag, but of being on a plane for insane amounts of time. My legs _hate_ staying still and unable to stretch.

*laugh*

You know, I've wondered the same thing about the lack of a 'u' - I have vague memories of being told that it's an acronym or something...

I highly recommend flying in to as close to your destination as possible. It wasn't so much the 15-hour trans-Pacific flight that was killer as getting off of it and having to get on *another* *airplane.*

And if you have the chance, stop for a night in CA -- it's good to a) get out of airports for a bit and b) eat some real food, which is generally not to be found in airports. Sadly, it doesn't help with jetlag, but you can't have everything :)

See... if I'm going to stop in CA for the night, I'd probably want to crash in a city I know a bunch of people in. So it'd need to be SF or LA, depending on whose around. I _think_ LA is where the flight would normally go, but I know fewer people there (having never _been_ there).

*thinking*

I flew out of SF on United -- I would guess it depends on the airline?
