[weird events] Driving to work today....
Apparently I offended a squirrel on the way to work today.
I was driving with the two front windows about two inches open, and a small acorn flew in the driver's side window, and hit me in the head. It wasn't until I got to work that I determined that it _was_ an acorn, mind you.
But damn, that squirrel has good aim! Through my only slightly open window!

Also, being so tired as to get sick is bad. I was home sick yesterday due to exaustion. I couldn't even remember my voicemail password, which was odd.
But! I get to avoid things which even get close to the evil of the past month for at least a month. Perhaps I can recover, now. :)

It's so much _easier_ to offend a squirrel, though...

But there were entire minutes where I was unable to stop laughing. That happens a bit less often (although sleep dep may have something to do with that). ;)

It may have been related to an incident with my pet Gerbils years earlier. A squirrel used to visit the window closest to my Gerbils. My roomies and I would joke that they were plotting the Revolution. I'd foolishly named that set of gerbils after world conquerers/rulers, Alexander, Catherine, Genghis, Attila, Napoleon (who was later renamed Josephine, oops) and Elizabeth.
