Bits of my morning
It was raining very lightly this morning, and now it smells like Spring! Makes me wonder what makes other people think it smells like Spring, now. :)

'Unfortunately, I added, we're so used to be the way we are, whether it's slacker or non, that we rarely change.
As humans, we get very caught up in the drama of whatever society we've created for ourselves.
That's what I like about school, traveling, and the internet. It exposes me to other people's schemas.
I mean, I know mine pretty well. I know how I look at the world.
I can't get anything different without convincing other people to share their views with me.
I can't get out of my head, right? But I can try to look over someone else's shoulder.
I'm not in school for the knowledge, any more than I work for the money.
Less and less it seems to matter to me. I go out into the world for the awareness.
For the people, for the feelings, for the ways we have of assigning meaning to things around us.
And also, at other times it seems, to completely stress myself out.
I guess that's a risk we all take. And as Stephen says, "What's life without a little risk?"'
Sleepy now, yes.
Oh! Also! I hope you have an absolutely delightful birthday today,shadesong! I'm very pleased to have met you, both on LJ and off.
