- I'm cold, there's no sun, I have a stupid nasty chest cold, and I'm depressed and overwhelmed. And I didn't sleep well or enough.

+ I'm in my own home and my own bed. There is a sweetie in my bed who I just got to randomly cuddle with, and I go to spend tommorow with another sweetie tonight after Psinging. And there will be many wonderful people at Psinging. There's an adorable and purry cat and a wonderful roommate that I live with. I just had a delightful week or so off in the SF area.

Why are the positives not outweighing the negatives?! Stupid nonsensical emotions math.

And you get to see both sweeties at once tonight! For extra confusion!

Also, I think you need squishing. Will provide later.

Because you're depressed, overwhelmed, and annoyingly-but-not-seriously sick? None of those things tend to help *me* with perspective, anyway. *sends tea and hugs*

Clearly, you had to go and bring logic into it. ;)

(oddly, that helped)

It actually often makes me feel better to know that I'm being reasonably, er, unreasonable. You know what I mean! *waves hands*

I completely know what you mean. :)

for those of us not caught up...

Our tagline is "A singing group for people who can stand people who can't sing". Every two weeks, as the lady says :-}.

For all that this is the tagline, tonight I learned the difference between the quality of singing at Psinging and a bunch of people doing karaoke. This is a good way to make one appreciate Psinging more. :P

*lol*

well, also note (more in response to [livejournal.com profile] randysmith) that psinging's overall actual *singing* has been getting better and better over the years. *ducks* *squeaks, from the floor: "but, it's true! and it's wonderful! (it's just also in competition with other events, which makes it hard to get to at times...)"*

I hope all the laughter and silliness at psinging added some weight to the + ledger?

[identity profile] wispfox.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. :) Although I likely shouldn't have tried to sing, for I had no voice all weekend!

(and not trying to work automatically reduces overwhelmedness)

I'm really sorry about the cold. :/ I assume they're my germs, anyhow. I washed my hands like crazy, and tried not to be face-to-face a lot, and hoped for the best.

The positives are profound but might not be outweighing the negatives because you have a head full of snot and a sky full of clouds.

[identity profile] wispfox.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Unclear whose germs they are, really. No worries.

And actually, it's mostly a chest cold, not a head cold. So much coughing and poor sleep, but minimal thinking effects.
