Help request

[livejournal.com profile] jasra hurt her hand, and I'm not with enough wrist joy to shovel, and her parking spot is covered in snow. Anyone local able to come rescue her spot from the snow before more falls and makes it worse?

Edit: guys from craigslist came and freed her spot. My car still looks forlorn, but I don't need it any time soon.

Mew! Ordinarily I would be up there in a flash, but...enervation and shoveling don't mix well.

Maybe get your rude neighbors to help you. You know they tried to block in my car on Sunday? This is in addition to the very rudely parked pickup which had like 4' of space behind it. Unluckily for their plans I managed to drive through the snow bank and around them...jerks.

Alternately see if there are neighborhood kids who want to make a buck. Maybe ask the guys at the corner gas station if they know anyone?

Yes; no doing extra work, sick one!

And no, I did not realize that they tried to block you in (but since it was [livejournal.com profile] jasra's space you were in, it does rather follow from her spot's current state).

And good thought re neighborhood kids.

checking craigslist; neighborhood kids idea reminded me of it. :)

So the rude neighbors also didn't leave me anywhere to park this morning at 5 am. Which made for a pissy [livejournal.com profile] jasra.

The guy in the pickup has a RWD truck so likely he couldn't get further into his space (which is icy as all get out).

Annoying neighbors. I complained to Mario about the snow in front of my space and your car getting plowed in.
