[link.funny, link.geeky]

I've linked to this before, but apparently some people haven't read it.

The best way to think of the job of Release Engineer is to imagine a team of Mad Scientists, who are working together to build a better Monster.

I? I have a pitchfork in my cube as a direct result of the above link. *stabs at the monster*

Do you know [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur directly through some as-yet-unsussed direct route?

I do not know this person at all!

I take it you do?

Yes! For about a decade now...learned dance from him, helped him move, he's half a dozen funny voices in my radio play...so I'm kind of amused that you linked to it. Interestingly I either hadn't seen it when he posted it, or forgot it, so it was once again funny.

P'rhaps you can be dragged to dance practice or somesuch some time, or play in one of his LARPs at Arisia...

(PS: psinging Friday?)

Funny!

dance practice = depends on both timing and whether or not it requires hands/wrists.

Psinging tomorrow, most likely I will be there. :)

Dance practice, other than holding hands in the circle-dances and in some partnered dances, doesn't require hands/wrists -- and when I was in a cast, was often danced by having my partner hold my elbow instead. It occurs Wednesday nights at MIT. It does involve walking around in intricate patterns, but they're taught quite well and quite fun. I just haven't shown up in a while.

This reminds me of the quote from my wife:

"Software isn't released -- it escapes."
