[weather]

Living in an attic in over 90 degree weather is _not_ fun.

Worse, though, when a recent power outage means we have no hot water for showers, so we need to go to the (currently empty) first floor to shower.

So, _so_ hot and humid up here. And I think [livejournal.com profile] jasra is melting.

Sigh. You have sympathies.

Still, I need to ask: Is she a good witch, or a bad witch?? :-}

I... I don't even know the right answer to that! Maybe the cheeky witch?

Phew. My utmost sympathies!

Did you ever get the hole cut that you and [livejournal.com profile] jasra needed?

Do y'all want to come hang out in a vaguely air-conditioned room at some point? Doesn't help with the whole sleeping/etc. thing though.

Hole cut: yes.

Hangings out in vaguely air-conditioned room; maybe. Depends on how much time we have available (pretty busy week). How much notice do you need?

[identity profile] metahacker.livejournal.com 2006-07-18 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Erm. Usually, almost no notice is sufficient, except if I have a prior commitment. This week I have an unusual number of such (Tues, Wed, Thurs, maybe Fri, and Sat!) ...so maybe about a week in this case. ;)

You do have air conditioning? Or is something flaky with that and I'm operating on a year old memory?

[identity profile] wispfox.livejournal.com 2006-07-18 04:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Office only recently has air conditioning, but it's not able to be a window one, and is not very effective thus far. More than nothing, but...

So you (basically) have AC for sleeping, but not for working. Arrggh. Understood. Not that you need this (on a couple of different levels), but I do think of heat as bad for tendonitis :-{.
