Not expecting much net access (or much interest in or time for it) this weekend. FYI.

It's unfortunate, but I think the couple of times that the carpets were cleaned before I got to them means that most of the stains (probably some smell there, too) are no longer able to be removed. Some were removable, though, so I'm going to get more Nature's Miracle and work on the room which was both the worst initially and in which I ran out of stuff. After this weekend.

And, there is baking soda on all the carpets, although not as thickly as I'd like, since I didn't get enough.

My kitty is going to _hate_ me, since I'm vanishing for a weekend, while he's very stressed...

Very tired. Long day. Food, brief notes to various people, then sleep. Am packed. And am nervous. :)

How come nervous?

Because NYC terrifies me. This visit is an attempt to reduce that. And I'm traveling there on my own, although being met by people when I arrive. Buses are an especially uncertain way to travel, and I have general difficulty with transition state parts of traveling (once I'm there, with people, I'm usually ok).

OxyClean really does work impressively on stains. Happy trip to NYC!

I saw some stain remover product that was rather impressive in its stain removing ability, though I can't quite remember what it was. [livejournal.com profile] silenceleigh said maybe it was Oxyclean and I think that that might be it.

What is OxyClean? And does it work on stains _and_ scent? Because the stains aren't visible without black light.

OxyClean (warning - the site is obnoxious). I'm not sure about scent but it's definitely good with stains.

Try Febreze if the baking soda fails. The rumors it's toxic to pets are merely that.
