Ok. I? Am _FAR_ too aware of my uterus.

Yes, I realize that cramping and spotting randomly for the next 6 months is expected.

But, at least from what I can tell, I'm cramping right now because I ate a little too much at lunch. I rarely eat too much at a time, as it is, because I don't like feeling full. I did _not_ need another reason to avoid it!

*grumblingly takes Alieve*

[muffled laughter] [muffled because of the coughing fit it would cause]

I'm very appreciative of any opportunity with which to be aware of your uterus too, but I don't think that's what you meant.

More seriously - didn't realise it could take six months to, uh, settle in. Yikes. Do you get a followup soon to make sure it's staying put and not poking a hole in you?

*giggling at your silliness*

Followup at next Pap, in September. Unless the pain is significantly more than my cramps normally tend to be, that is. In which case, sooner!

Ok! [relieved]

Also, I don't think I fully understood how long it'd take, either. I got the impression of _mild_ cramps for ~6 months, and spotting (the latter of which hasn't actually made itself known as of yet).

For a while the weirdest things would cause cramping. Digestion of a big meal would do it. I'd wait too long to go to the bathroom, then when I did, the pressure change would set off cramps. Very odd. Fortunately, it gets better! It does it does!!

Oh, so that's _not_ just me! I was a bit weirded out by that particular set of cause/effect.

Ah. Huh. Ok, that might explain earlier in the week...

*believes you and is relieved*
