I blame Hitherby Dragons for these:

Stuffed animals! (apparently, at least based on her wish list, there's a life sized tiger somewhere here. I want a life sized stuffed siberian tiger! And there's snakes! And probably geckos! Maybe hummingbirds! And no, I _don't_ actually need more stuffed animals. But but but but!)

Also, pretty wings. I don't think this is something I'd want, as I doubt I'd wear wings, ever. But pretty! Ooooooh...

(and, only vaguely related, I still have no idea where to find those shoulder-held griffens whose movements can be controlled with some sort of hand-held gizmo. They are pretty and feathery and oooooooh. I've seen them at sci-fi cons and places like king richard's faire and pagan pride day)

Damn Christmas, everyone's pointing out all sorts of pretty things that I don't actually need! I will be strong. ;)

If you didn't have to miss my gathering, you'd be encouraged to wear wings. Wings are useful! I'm about to make myself another pair. And those are pretty ones.

I want a life-sized tiger. It'd be perfect.

Wings are useful!

How so?

(and yes, I realize your gathering includes wings. :)

Why life-sized tiger = perfect?

Because aesthetics are useful?

Why life-sized tiger = perfect?

Because regyt is from Blake:

Tyger Tyger burning bright
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

perfect, Blake: Aaaaaah... yes.

And asthetics useful, yes!

But expensive. Then again, I appear to have expensive taste (http://www.alpacaunlimited.com/IBS/SimpleCat/Product/asp/hierarchy/0102/product-id/722945.html)! :)

I share that trait, alas.

Unfortunately, I can't find robes that are long enough. I had a custom one for a while but it finally died...

Hmm... and having to make things custom pretty much automatically makes your clothing expensive, I suspect?

her?

The wings are lovely. I bet they'd look great on the wall as art until you wanted to wear them.

May in fact be her - but I want it to be _stuffed_!

And... wall art. Interesting thought! Hmm...
