[CTY]

Before I have complete and utter brain meltdown (read: I have no choice but to sleep), CTY has a site for alumni! http://cty.jhu.edu -> Bottom right-hand corner, "My CTY for ... Students/Alumni".

They actually know what courses I took! I didn't quite remember...

We discussed it less than a month ago, in person. I said I'd been at Lancaster and Johns Hopkins. You asked me if I knew a bunch of people. I answered no on all of them. :)

Only via livejournal. I decided that anyone who knew you and a whole bunch of my Seattle friends was someone I wanted to know, too. Then I forgot to actually add her to my friends list, so she had to use her amazing psychic powers and add me the next day. :)

You mentioned that in the original post, so I went and poked around and didn't find it. I've been sort of tentatively assuming that it's there and I'm just too short on sleep from encroaching HUGE EVIL NASA DEADLINE and hallucinating, or something. :)

That looks like and interesting program. It reminds me of the program they do at St.Paul's in NH.

My work partners with JHU to offer a Masters degree in system engineering. I've been considering entering the program. I haven't yet for lack of time.

*nod* You were off doing college. . . 1? stuff, while both Death-and-Pineapples and Digi were college. . . 2? (damn, been so long I forget which college was which). Digi's sort of the next generation after DaP, there's overlap between the tail end of DaP and the beginning of Digi. There's another group, the LLRTs (Land of the Large Round Tables) that's the next gen after Digi in a similar manner. [livejournal.com profile] londo is one of them, if you know who he is.

er, no, i was a ta in the abstract algebra class. afaik staff were not ever also students at the same time. though most of the instructional staff, particularly in math, was former students...

I think we discussed it briefly. ^^ I did paleobiology at Hamilton in '94 and astronomy at Skidmore in '95, first session both times, if I'm remembering correctly.
