[sleep]
I would _really_ like to stop spending my nights in the grips of really strange dreams, because I seem to not sleep nearly as well that way. I do seem prone towards really strange dreams lately, though!
Tonight I try to determine if my sleep difficulties might have something to do with insufficient longer-term physical contact - I don't have any idea when the last time I had more than hug-type contact with anyone. No wonder I've been feeling out of sorts and disconnected and just plain strange!
[edit] I apparently was not clear. I'm not intending to try to combine cuddling and sleeping tonight; just attempting to get some cuddling in (and have already asked for such). I don't sleep (well, if at all) while cuddling, although cuddling can get me most of the way to being able to sleep.

This pleases me. Yendi isn't a snuggler, alas...

I tend to wake up more often when I have somebody to snuggle in bed with me, but I also tend to feel a lot more refreshed in the morning. (And my general mental health is of course a lot better when I have lots of cuddles in my life.)

Re: sleep and snuggles - I like to sleep in the same bed with someone, and not snuggle to sleep, but sleep near each other, with a limb touching. Once in collge my boyfriend and I fell asleep with our hands intertwined across the space in the bed. It was so lovely.
