[sick kitty]

It's very worrisome to have one's cat yowling when urinating. It's more so when it happens twice.

I've called my vet (yes, they _are_ 24 hours, athough just emergency is available right now). They said that, as long as he's still passing urine, he's fine to wait until they open at 7am. I will, however, be calling at 7am, precisely.

I still may end up using Emergency, if they have no regular hours open in the morning. If nothing else, he feels really hot to the touch.

i empathize, immensely.

i think he'll be OK though. a trip to the vet, and some either antibiotics, or a change in diet and you'll be good :) i will be keeping you both in my thoughts.

*wry* Yeah, I know you do. I'm just startled that he seems to be fine right now. Kinda suspicious of it, but unwilling to make him have to deal with the vet when he might have recovered on his own (which I know can happen in humans, too, or I'd be really skeptical).
