OK, the major problem with getting enough of something (touch, intensity, talking, whatever) for a period of time means that my brain gets grumpy and goes through withdrawl after it stops.
Hey, I wonder if _that_ is why I miss people when I do, and why it's so difficult to get me to miss specific people? I have to get enough of something I enjoy/want/need from them before I will notice that it's (and therefore they are) gone?

Just don't try to use a stick to scratch that itch. It might seem like a good idea, but it doesn't work out quite the way you might think.
