Astronomy Picture of the Day.

_Solaris_ is an amazingly slow movie. I do believe I talked to the movie even more than I normally do!

It is good that I have accepted the existance of, and therefore had time to relax into, a partner-level relationship w/[livejournal.com profile] australian_joe _before_ he goes back to Australia. I make no claims for the distance to be an easy thing, however. Someone remind me, the next time I decide there are things I should not do for difficulty reasons (rather than for healthy for myself reasons), that life _really_ likes teaching me that difficult is not sufficient reason to avoid things that are of sufficient impact to cause me to protest too much (but it _is_ still a good reason to be cautious!). *amused with self*

Diesel tonight, although I have no idea how long I shall stay. Probably not long, since it seems that this is the time of year for excessive crowdedness at the Diesel poly boston socials. But I will be there! And so will [livejournal.com profile] aelisdeliria! And [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe will have been there long before I get there!

Also! It is amazingly funny/cute/sweet to, when one is on a phone being handed between people, hear 'Sweetie, it's your sweetie!'

Ok. I go now.

If you think that's amazingly slow, then you probably should not see the Russian one :-) What did you say to it?

Most frequently, I tended to comment on the _scary_ aspect of the no-longer dead wife. She had some freaky facial expressions. I also tended to comment on what was going to happen before it did, and suggest that they speed things up a bit.
