(no subject)

Huh. The last post was apparently going more into depth into things I'm still figuring out about myself than I thought, because now I'm all uncertain about having posted it.

Weird.

[clothing.shoes]

When I am wearing boots, my feet look like someone else's to me. It's actually fairly disconcerting. :)

I suspect the fact that boots make more noise when I walk has something to do with that, as well.

My feet look the most like my feet when they are bare, sandles are almost bare, and sneakers are fairly normal for me. That's about it. :)

[link] Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Batman!

[livejournal.com profile] conuly posts about some girls who were sued for surprise cookie deliveries. Because _that_'s a great way to teach people to be kind to each other.

[emotion]

At this moment in time, I am so very overwhelmingly filled with love that I am reminded of my frequent wish for bottling up strong emotion for later use or for giving away to other people.

Indeed, there is much love. And I want to share it.

edit: I am not aware of any spark or trigger for this spontaneous overflowing of love (although there is, in fact, a particular person it is directed at). Just because, apparently.

[link.Boston area] Green line extention to Medford

For those of you who don't read [livejournal.com profile] psongster, you might want to go read the post about the Green Line extension to Medford, and the fact that it was promised to be done as part of the Big Dig but now appears to not be something that the state intends to do.

The link above includes information on who to write to. Public transportation good. Doing what they initially promised, good. I go write to them now.

[AS] meta.previous post

Remember this post, which I said I was going to send to my parents?

I'm talking to my mom right now, and apparently not only did she appreciate it in terms of it being a thank you, but it was apparently a really useful resource for her, in terms of being able to give a copy of it (minus who it came from) to various people she works with to help them get a (sometimes better) sense of what it's like to be a kid growing up on the autistic spectrum (wherever the hell I am). (note: she's a school psychologist in the public elementary school system in New Hampshire)
