Why have I started calling everyone (ok, not everyone - only people I care about) 'hon' lately? Where did I pick _that_ up?!

You're preparing to come to Baltimore for a.p.12? It's fairly common among the natives to call each other "Hon." There's even a Cafe Hon in Hampden, one of Baltimore's oldest neighborhoods.
