Are old and middle english usually options on language selection preference lists? Did I just never notice?

Can't say I've ever seen them offered before. Usually I see English (US) and English (UK).

I've never seen it before, nor ancient Egyptian. Come to think of it, I think only three of those languages are actually current -- checking Wikipedia shows that Ekajuk is spoken in one section of Nigeria, and Eryza is spoken in part of Mordovia with some spillover into other countries around there. And English is also a currently-spoken language.

Ancient Egyptian, Elamite, Middle English, and Old English are generally considered extinct languages.

What website is this? I LIKE these people.

Yeah, I was a bit startled!

It's my health insurance through my school. :)

I'd be so tempted to find an Akkadian dictionary or something and fill out the forms in an ancient language just to see what happened.

I would hope it was a student project - and monitored by appropriate people, but whimsy allowed.
