The term 'un-girlfriend' is amusing the hell out of me.
Ok, ok, I admit to having a harem, of some definition or other.
Increased communication for unexpected reasons is good. Yes.
Also, my lesbian sheepism seems to be being overcome, albeit with lots of random shyness on my part.

My most comfortable response would be either the 3 or the 6 answer. (with the 3 being a baseline, based on people I'm actually or nearly actually dating, and the 6 being a number that has some variation depending on my ability to keep a sense of those people)
