I'd been given such a low dose, for so little time, that it wouldn't have done a damned thing about my infection except possibly make it antibiotic-resistant. He gave me a real perscription, and I never went back to that doctor again.
Damn. Did the oral surgeon happen to have a suggestion for a PCP for you, at least?
I completely failed to think to ask, and it probably didn't occur to him either. Luckily I didn't need to see any doctor outside of the MGH clinic until I got to Waltham, and my current doctor (whose office is about a mile from my house) rocks. He actually listens to me!
