I've been looking at sectionals which would allow me to have a longer couch and would fit up the stairs without any problems.

Were I planning to stay in this area for a longer period of time than I am, I would likely do the same. I _like_ couches for cuddling! Esp ones which fit more than two people (being, y'know, poly and all!)...
