That was fun (the dice thing.) It screamed puzzle! so I had to solve it before I clicked on the link. My answer was slightly different:
roll a d6 and a d10 with the d10 relabelled (1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5)
add the two numbers, and if the answer is 7 or more, add one to the total.
