Well, I note that I'm using melatonin in order to make myself at all sleepy at night, so my experiences _will_ be different. And yesterday, I was entirely unable to get out of bed until 1:30p, even though I was awake and not actually _sleepy_ at around 10a.
I have no idea when I would feel able to sleep without the melatonin, even considering that I slept only a few hours during the trip home.
I am admittedly a morning person more than a night person... but... I find it a _lot_ harder to go to bed when not tired than to force myself to stay up later. So east->west is reasonable to be easier for me to adjust to.
Using seratonin, yes - I'm on SAM-e because of winter, and returned to using 5-HTP - also for winer - when I got back to the states (it's not legal in .au, so I did not bring it with me).
Do you have melatonin for galaneia to use? It _will_ help, assuming that she dosn't have strange reactions to it.
