I use 's///g' - with words in appropriate places - in text conversations _WAY_ too often.

[edit: I think this has to do with my normal awareness of being understandable. While, yes, I have an awful lot of geek friends, every so often I'm still rather aware of the fact that some shortcuts/words/phrases that I use are _really_ _strange_. It's most apparent when I hang out with my family, although that's not what sparked this awareness]

Phone calls from within the US apparently cause me to believe that yes, [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe _is_ in the US. Now to prevent myself from being impatient/jittery for the next three weeks.

One of the rings on my phone is _LOUD_. Hopefully I've succeeded in quieting it a bit.

Hyper. Caffeine should not be allowed _near_ me, let alone in me.

Apparently the bottom half of my attire (including, I note, the fact that my feet are bare) makes me look like I should be dancing around a bonfire.

Now I want a bonfire!

One of these days, I will succeed in getting [livejournal.com profile] starandrea to Psinging. Even if she _does_ live far away.

I'm finding myself earwormed with phrases, rather than songs, a rather lot lately. Especially in relation to Rejected, Animation Show, and Invader Zim. Although, Monty Python happens a lot, as well. For someone who doesn't get references, when I _do_ get them, they appear to get stuck! Somehow, I'm glad I don't get very many. ;)

The one that invariably has some joker get pedantic on me is using 's//word' to insert a missed word in the previous line.

Yeah, I can believe that. But, really, if one's talking to a human, and they know what you mean, it doesn't _matter_ if a computer would! :)
