No brains

The sleepy ated them. (otherwise known as I had caffeine yesterday, much too late in the day)

But! The ATN guild PITF (Pony In The Face is love!)pony is hanging out with my otter in the front seat, guarding my foods. (this has been true for the whole trip, I just forgot to take a picture) Eventually, the pony and I will end up in the greater boston area, and the PITF legacy will continue. Oh, yes. First, the pony will have a long journey!

Went to a nature trail in Farmington, NM, at Riverside Nature Center. Pictures!

Then, went to Anasazi Heritage Center in Cortez, CO. Picures!

Tonight and tomorrow night, hostel. Tomorrow, train!

The next day, Mesa Verde and then on to Four Corners (which will be open!).

That ongoing oil spill...

So, my worst fears at this point, considering the rate at which the spill is worstening and the apparent inability to do anything about it, is no ocean life worldwide, and this generation being the last to have clean ocean beaches or any experience of sealife outside of aquariums.

I am most afraid of the fact that I can't tell, from any news source, if this is actually unrealistic. Do they know how much oil that well holds, in the case that it can't be stopped?
