[brains.social]

I have been having rather startlingly strong ache for socialness since last night. Probably partly a delayed reaction to [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe going back to .au, partly a reaction to having been so pleasantly highly social this past weekend and having had no one around other than at work since then, and partly to having no roommate, but I don't think those are all of it. Unfortunately, I don't have _time_ to be social this week.

I suspect that, even though I don't think I have time, I'm going to _make_ time to go to the Lefton's party Saturday, at least for a few hours, since it's really the only available social time I have in the near future. And I'm _really_ getting itchy for hanging out with people. Being sick probably isn't helping, since I tend to like people around when I'm sick.

Unfortunately, even though I could probably _try_ to fit people in around plans (Ash x-ray tonight, moving of smaller furniture tomorrow, call with [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe Friday night), I tend to not stay in one place for very long this week, what with moving things between Andover and Woburn.

Yes, this _is_ why I'm moving closer to Boston. Need social, and that will help, once I'm moved.

[kitty]

My kitty, at least, is utterly overjoyed about me being sick enough to have decided to work from home today. Mom's _home_, for once!

We'll see how he feels after his x-rays tonight, though. :)

Fuzzy, snuggly kitty. He makes me grin when he cuddles up really, really close. And, his tummy fur has grown back enough that it's no longer immediately obvious based solely on color.

Yay for dorks! (in this particular case, [livejournal.com profile] cadhla gives 5 reasons why she is a dork)

I tend to be highly, highly amused and pleased by dorky behavior, and this example is no exception. :)

[PSA.moving] Network access

I will not have network access from home from the 20th until the 30th, as it apparently takes Verizon 10 days to activate it on a new line. I will still have access from work, of course.

If anyone reading this thinks that they ought to have my phone number, and doesn't already (my cell number will not change), email me. I may or may not agree with you, of course, since I'm not terribly phone-friendly, for the most part. :)

I doubt anyone uses it whose information I have not already updated, but if anyone has my landline number, it'll be changing on the 20th, as well.
