I actually did not think there _were_ squeezable foods (I thought of Astronaut food, but after I posted).

But y'all have come up with the most fascinating links!

And while squeezy yogurt had me initially very tentative, now I want to get some and put them in the freezer to make yogurt pops. :)

I'm still not sure why I don't think spreads are 'food', even though, say, peanut butter is a spread, and is very definitely food.

But ketchup and mustard and mayonnaise? Not food.

Clearly I need more investigation of what is 'food'. :)

Co-worker, wandering by, very amused tone: "You're too happy!"
Me: *stare*
Co-worker: "Fix that!"
Me: No!

Now, of course, I'm probably grinning more than I was, just from amusement!

Taking a picture of my dilated eyes from eye doctors: reasonable.

Taking it with flash: _amazing_ red-eye. :)

There may be picture later. For now, I try to read my screen. :)

Ok, so I have a _nasty_ head cold which keeps threatening to sneak into my lungs (and thus last for two weeks longer than it otherwise would). (so now I'm all indecisive about going into work for two days of meetings, because on one hand I want to be _at_ the damn meeting, but I don't really want to get that entire team sick by being stick in a room with me and my head cold for two days)

The part which is amusing me is that, firstly, I'm very slightly feverish. So I'm even more easily amused than usual. But the other part is that my sore throat makes my voice sound all weird and deeper than usual. So even though my throat hurts, I'm constantly tempted to sing with my music or talk to myself because I sound _weird_. My poor throat.

And I had to take cold/flu stuff to sleep last night, too.

(yes, salt water gargling is happening. So are anti-sick pills)

On the plus side, my wrists are more or less happy again, such that I ought to be able to do strength work tonight. Yay!

Doot, doot, doot! *vaguely feverish [livejournal.com profile] wispfox goes back to trying to work*

I just had a very startled co-worker glance at my screen when I was looking at google calendar stuff, commenting that I have very deep use of said application.

I simply agreed, of course, but... yeah. So glad that I can sync my Palm with it, or my scheduling brain's tendency to utterly fail as winter arrives would be _even more_ problematic.

Mmm. Tasty calendaring tools.

Because clearly the internet points to me, when there are questions of light boxen in my social group! *amused*

I use the black sunrise alarm clock, presumably from BioBright. I also replace the bulb they come with with a full spectrum light (but not one that emits UV!). Plant lights consistently work well in my experience.

I also use the Twin Tower light from here; I've had it for 7 years at this point. I find it works, but the fact that it's bloody expensive (and green) may concern some people.

Additionally, I replace as many light bulbs as I can reach in my home with full spectrum light bulbs. (bluer light seems the main important bit, FWIW)

Finally, I have a light at work which has a full spectrum light bulb in it. Although I do need to replace that, since it finally died on me (I vary how often I turn it on, since it _is_ bright and right next to my face, and also blinds co-workers who come to visit me).

I have no brain for things not work-related. But! I can offer beauty and silly and such, because it's fun and good and I want to. :)

no really, lots of links under here. No actual content )
